IN THE SPIRIT OF AN ICON

We will also miss the great Elizabeth Taylor. Not only was she a phenomenal actress, but she was a revolutionary activist. She will be remembered as much for her many legendary performances as she will for her commitment to philanthropic causes and her unwavering fight for AIDS/HIV research and compassion. Looking at the many iconic photos of Dame Taylor over the decades, we are also reminded of her style legacy. She famously wore designs by Helen Rose, like the white chiffon dress above, designed for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. The dress below was designed by James Galanos and is reminiscent of the famous Helen Rose dress (chiffon, sleeveless, tight at the waist and full at the skirt). A charming layered floral print of orange, yellow, and green flowers, this is an ideal dress to celebrate the first week of Spring and pay tribute to the incomparable Elizabeth Taylor.
